This was shared in every Kingdom Hall in North America, today. 2 1/2 hour service.

It was not a live feed as far as I know. My Wife went Sat afternoon but other congregations did it on Sunday.

She didn't seem all that excited when she came home so I assume it was the same old.. same old.. where they tell you how GREAT things are going and how that means that the end is ..soon..near..approaching..just around the corner...etc..etc...etc..

It was a DVD then. I suspect the call for young brothers is to make up for ageing bethelites they are letting go.

it was actually quite dull, boring. they bragged up their printing system saying they did a better job at installing some upgrades than a "worldly" company could do

I think they had something like that here in Australia too. It was yesterday and the meeting went for 3 hrs and they had a talk from someone in bethel. That's what I heard.

My sister told me on Saturday that there was going to be a 'special meeting' that was taped and it was going to be 2 1/2 freaking hours. I asked her what the topic was and she said she didn't know. I said "gee, maybe Armageddon is right around the corner again".

So ya, I'd be curious to know what it consisted of.

Hoser, if they said that then they are the worlds biggest liars. We were there when six guys from Germany that were NOT jws were instructing bethel boys how to program it and put it together. That was part of the deal. Society buys the printery from the company and the company would fly out these WORLDLY men to assemble and program. I had asked if they were brothers and this is what I was told.
