"a watcher - Why are you still posting here. Don't you know this is an apostate website?

And according to the watchtower, it apears that I have time between when the tribulation starts and the start of armageddon."

Yes, Watcher must be an apostate. he/she is contradicting what's published in the latest study article! :-)

So they are already getting rid of 1914 as we predicted years ago? It's not even featured in that picture at all.

Interesting observation. Why didn't they put it as start of the last days?

It's like a "Divine Plan of The Ages" Diagram (I have an original here) except it is devoid of any dates or numbers of days

and is remarkable for it's large "unknown" banner across the middle. Amazing.

Lets put the two side by side for comparison:

I don't have to work vigorously, I'm losing weight, so won't have a problem fitting through very small openings. (tired of being told what to do, why to do it, saved saved blah blah heard it all before)

a watcher i will ask you the same thing a ask every jw i asked kjw53 and he has not posted any response if what you say is true , : how can you have salvation based on this: jesus said you must be born again to see or even enter into the kingdom of god, jesus showed that everlating life and entering into the kingdom are one and the same.(john 3:1-7)(luke 18:18-26) so how are you going to enter into the kingdom????

Endless are the ways young men speculate over end times events. Endless are the ways young men get it wrong, grow older fine-tuning their precious speculations and quietly die to be forgotten and succeeded by newer generations of young men speculating over end times events. The cycle of speculating over end times events grinds on and on, nothing learned, nothing gained, each generation convinced the light has been bestowed upon them, but enveloped over time by the darkness of predictably getting it wrong...again and again and again.

    Tribulation

    Destruction of False Religion

    Armageddon

    Millenial Reign

Just trigger words/phrases to keep 'em under their fearful spell.

Steve2, I wonder how the whole idea of eschatology entered into the collective human psyche, to where end-times groups continue to hold sway over millions.

The idea of a post-apocalyptic world hit me like a bolt of lightning when I was 14 years old, when I saw an intense sci-fi flick with heavy post-A themes. It shook me to my very foundation, and filled me with growing terror until I found JWism at age 21, which offered me some respite, only briefly though. Even 10 years out from the JWs, bad news on the TV or internet still strikes those chords...

tower leaders have been listening to radio preachers (altho some highly educated ministers w/doctorates) to get their info. too bad they don't follow main doctrine.

    Didn't Christ's "Millenial Rule" begin in 1914?
