If its from a public school, I'd doubt it but if its from a religious school such as Catholic etc. ... it might be true.

I am from Canada so not sure how things work in the States but do teachers not have to follow some kind od state curriculum? Do students have to pass state exams? If so, these students will fail miserably and the teacher should be fired and the school reprimanded......no??

In my freshman or sophomore year in high school during a science final exam there was a question that mentioned “evolution” and I answered something about god creating the heavens and the earth and mentioned a scripture and that evolution was incorrect.
It was a really ridiculous answer I gave. Anyway, I got full credit because we were allowed to object due to religious reasons. I wish I kept the paper. Now it’s really embarrassing thinking how I answered the question.

If you have Netfix, watch the documentary "Kingdom Kids", about how the religious right educate brainwash their children. It showed a mom home schooling her child and telling him that scientists just make things up. It's scary, but the dubs are no better.
