Yes, it's better to 'fail fast' because it allows you to correct things without wasting time on wrong courses and getting invested. You can then improve and get better.
I think it was a pedal powered aircraft competition winner that said what changed things for them was not trying to come up with the final complete design, it was to come up with something and then learn from it and keep repeating it until they had what worked.

There is (usually) nothing wrong with making mistakes as long as you learn from them. I often let my kids make mistakes so they can, with a little help, figure out the right way to do things.

Completely agree. As Neitzsche says, "that which does not kill me makes me stronger"
We need to learn from our mistakes

Lesson: Read idiot-proof instructions for facebook group administrators BEFORE you open the group ,,,, protect your membership! Stop being careless with other people's lives.
Lesson learned? I dunno, has the group been deleted yet? Are those 1,000 people still at risk?
Hmmmm? Has this been done?

Another valuable Dyson lesson is 'outsource to China'. That but is less inspirational.

No shame in making mistakes, we all do it, that's why they put erasers on pencils. We just need to learn from them.

That's why I'm not afraid of confrontation. Ya learn more when u lose. Figure out the mistakes, and jump back in.
Of couse acknowledging the failure does go a long way. Rather than blaming others for one's miscalculations..... Keeps heading back to Mother, doesn't it?
