well some facts have to be vague because of her age, but reporters have to rely on the police report, which was dictated by someone not familiar with JW's, and whatever story the JW's have given the police and media. If he wasn't a JW, they would have made it quite clear. Instead it sounds like an article written by someone who was stonewalled

Anyway, as the person is charged in teh courts of the law, more information may be available and we will know more.

Yes, I want to agree with wha happened?. The mention of a church is an attempt to confuse the public about the true identity of the Kingdom Hall. Jehovah's witnesses do not identify themselves as members of a church. The word 'church' is anathema to them. Been there, saw it.

I do not want to go into details...but someone close to me was sexually molested as a child by a JW. I don't think the perp being JW contributed..but this person was just a sick person. As I believe in this story.

What I do like is that the parents loved their child enough to report it. Many may not agree with me...but I really believe children or anyone who have been sexually violated and choose to ask the brothers (WTBS) how to handle their situation is horrific and they should have to deal with their choice of not seeking help for their minor child.

Of course the guy was a JW. He also sexually assulted the girl a previous time. Most likely he was a Ministerial Servant, which the writer took to be a Youth Leader. The perp most likely had previously sweet-talked her, then somehow found a way to be alone with her again during a KH cleaning or re-modeling.
