Oh, all those carnivores (lions, bears, snakes etc) will feast on grass with their canine teeth.

I imagine current teachings about this subject haven't changed mush since i was in. They used to teach that humans were made to live forever, not so, the animals. Animals always died, when their time was up. They cited how our human bodies replace cells all the time, and should be able to, theoretically live forever. Not so the animals.

This reasoning doesn't hold up, since our bodies have exactly the biological machinaery as the animals do. We eat, animals eat. We drink water, animals drink water. We breath, animals breath. We crap, animals crap. We procreate, animals procreate. We mark our territory, animals mark their territory. We are simply another animal form.

The idea that humans could have lived forever, but animals not is based on vapor.

Current animal teaching is still that they will all get along and be subject to us like zoo keepers, except they will be like loving pets.

it was in the special talk this year I think that animals will get along. It's what people ask kids, "And what type of animal do you look forward to playing with in the paradise?".

A bird flew into the camper and died.

The alien picks up the dead bird and focuses on it, and after a few seconds it wriggles, and then stands up and flutters and stretches its' wings and chirps.

I asked my dad why do snakes have venom when I was a kid. He said maybe to liquify fruit to eat.

I asked him why did t-rex and crocs and other things have huge razor teeth, he said maybe to crack open coconuts to eat.

What would leeches eat? Why does anything have a shell or armor? Why do insects have stingers? Why do poison dart frogs have poison? Why do cheetahs run 70 mph? Why do eagles have the best vision that they use to catch fish in a canyon river? Why do owls have night vision and stealth silent flying? Why does anything have camoflage? Why do skunks spray as self defense? What did they and will they need that for? Why do cephalopods like squid, octopus have an ink jet getaway cover? What would they need to getaway from? What would an anteater eat? Would cleaner fish get an exemption to eat living parasites since they are helping?

How will the animal population be in balance without predators? Mass suicide, lemming style?
