You'd be unlikely to be disfellowshipped, but would lose your "privileges." I had some JW friends that skydived in the 1980's without getting d/f, but there was a lot of gossip about them over it.
Skydiving/Parachuting. A disfellowship offense?

return of parakeet
I went white-water rafting in my 50s and went zip-lining and parasailing a few months ago. Didn't know the WTS disapproved of those things.
Wish I'd known. That knowledge would have made it even more fun than it was.
Parakeet, the dare-devil grandma!

If you do go, don't tell anyone you're doing it. For your sake AND theirs.
I knew a young brother who'd done loads of jumps, he eventually died when his chute didn't open. Not long after, all his mates (brothers in the local congs who DID know about his jumping) got a right grilling and even a local needs talk about covering over sins of someone else... You wouldn't BELIEVE how insensitive that was. Oh wait, yes you probably would.

In the 80's, I was an elder & pilot. A group of us from worked jumped. I was the only witness. Few in the cong. knew but nothing came of it. I told those who asked about it that it was part of pilot training.
