Satanus, it is a lousy movie all around. I guess it's in the category of "So bad it's good". Here's a couple clips:

And what are they saying now that it is spring?
"Is that a pistil in your pocket or are you just happy to see me?"

Tal I just don't know what to make of that vid. So much on youtube, I don't know. If it was April 1st I would know what is going on. Baffled. What do you think?

The Singing Plants at Damanhur appears to be part of a cult display - http://damanhurinsideout.wordpress.com/about/make-believe/ Damanhur seems to be a complex run by one guy who programs all the people who work there. Here is a first hand experience - http://universal-laws.hubpages.com/hub/THE-DREAM-VERSUS-THE-REALITY-OF-DAMANHUR

Xanthippe, I saw that as a segment of investigative reporting about plants. It asked the question "Do Plants Communicate?" To be honest, for this thread I vaguely recalled that part, and quickly looked up the youtube. After S made reference to preaching, I looked at that particular vid, and they do seem to be some kind of cult ... so, earlier today I looked around youtube some more, to find some of the other, more scientific studies.
There is some interesting scientific research out there.
And, S. I haven't looked at your link yet (it's late), but will over the next few days, and I'll post a couple of other short vids I saw yesterday. Specifically, there were two re Plants talking to each other, as in the OP.

I remember something like this , damanhur, on some tv program maybe a yr ago. It gave the cave complex a very positive spin. The place seems to have gotten a lot of positive publicity.

Yes there was something about the way that woman was speaking, she didn't sound like a scientist, her voice was strange. Also I kept waiting for an explanation of the technical apparatus but it just looked like a ropey old music centre.

S, yes, most likely it was the same show, it was in the same time frame.
Xanthippe, hah! I thought that too.

There was a whole legitimate PBS and Knowledge Network Science Doc
on this phenomenon with TREES in forests. For real.
They actually injected a "mother" tree with some traceble dye and she/it the tree
was sending nutients out to her seedings and nurturing them. Formerly scientists
assumed all plants were in competition with each other, (they must have been confusing
plants with people). Oak trees know their own acorns. True, proven, observed science.
I am beginning to think humans may be God's only failure and that we upset the whole
balance of the system, hmmm well that sounds about right.
