JW LEAKS has just published the Financial Records for Watch Tower Bible and Tract Society of Pennsylvania for the years 1995 through 1998 in PDF.

These form just some of the records that were required to be lodged in Britain as part of the legal requirements relating to the establishment of an overseas branch of the Watch Tower Society in Britain in 1993.

Also published by JW Leaks are a copy of the original 8 page "Certificate of Registration of an Oversea Company" and application lodged with the registrar of Companies for England and Wales for the registration of "WATCH TOWER BIBLE AND TRACT SOCIETY" in Britain.

On November 1, 1999, Watch Tower Bible and Tract Society of Pennsylvania closed their overseas branch in Britain. A copy of the "Closure Form" has also been published. This closure was done following the registration of "WATCH TOWER BIBLE AND TRACT SOCIETY OF BRITAIN" a few weeks earlier.

Documents relating to the Watch Tower Bible and Tract Society of Pennsylvania can be download at:

What exactly are the long term receivables ? Are they the kHs they havent yet sold ? When you read the structure on forms like this the business side really comes out.

$300 million is a helluva lot for "cash and short term investments".

Of course that was 15 years ago, prior to the economic crisis - but still - it seems to contradict the speculation (which I shared) that they were "asset rich but cashflow poor".

It is also striking that their assets jumped $100 million - 16+% - in just one year.

So is there really no "cashflow crisis"? Are they just greedy b*st*rds after all?

Or have they really made crappy investment decisions since then and have more problems now?

Do you remember the Witchtower a few years ago where the sisters in the Solomon Islands were praised for their humility and faith?

They could not afford to buy shovels to dig the foundations - sorry: fundum - of the Kingdumb Hell, so they dug them with their BARE HANDS. Good Christ! Crooklyn wouldnt GIVE them shovels, or LEND the money to buy them, because they knew the cash would never be repaid. The fact it was printed, shows they KNEW of this situation...

Thats how relevant this kind of thing is, when they are now planning to deliberately expand in the third world where there is very little internet access, and the ignorant desperate poor will give what little they have to buy a bit of tinsel fringed hope.

It shows their character, IMO. They are always asking for more money. They take it all from the KH and loan it back. They spend money that could be used to buy shovels for poor people by retaining seats at the Hedge Fund investment companies. Geeze, forget shovels, how about food, shelter, clothing and medical care?!

Closed-mouthed, aren't they? Our town budget has more detail than this does.

Revenue has a pleasing trend. What was the convention release in 1996?

    WTS Penn

The KHAF also has a pleasing trend. Putting out a couple million a year is not very big. How many quick builds is that? Note the gap between income and expenses.
