I don't want to give me the adjective of better because that would make me appear as a superior person but, I definitely learned a lot of things by leaving the WBTS. I learned to be more open-minded and more human too. Now, I accept my limit as a human and I accept that someday, I'll die because everything that have a beginning must have an end too. And now, I know that there's some really good person outside of the org, they are not just sinner who must die at Armageddon.
I'm much better off. Can't even really expound on that.
I am better off.
I got an education. That was the major thing in my life that made me realize there are many religions, they all have a similar agenda, there are good/bad people in all religions and I want no part of any of them.
I no longer feel under the control of people I have never met and only want my money or adulation.
I am definitely better off.
Every aspect of my life... better with the the cold shadow of the society long gone.
These are great comments.
It's still fairly "fresh" for me...but...
much like each of you...
so far...I'm feeling much better off.
I can honestly say that nothing in my life
got 'worse' from leaving. Everything improved.
Everything! I have to admit that I
initially worried that life would get worse...
but i guess that's just what years&years of conditioning
will do to a person.
I now feel like a better, more sane, well-rounded person.
My life has opened up and become really enjoyable.
I am more optimistic about the future...and this is perhaps the most surprising change...i used to think "what could be more optimistic than paradise?" now i think....well, much differently.
The best thing for me so far, has been
getting the most out of each and every day.
Here and now.
Really living.
For the first time ever.
Wahoo!
