There is no reason JW's couldn't have supplemented their knocking activities with this strategy.
In fact you can see from the Watchtower's internet activity that they have learned a few things from CBN.
Read the history of CBN and you will no longer be able to argue against the effects of satellite broadcasting.

But, radio and TV are proven to be EFFECTIVE in reaching people on their own level. If the Watchtower corporation really had a fire
in their evangelical bellies they'd stop at nothing to use TV and radio and Podcast and whatever it took to spread the message.
That is why this topic asserts the so-called "witnessing" work is NOT ABOUT witnessing--it is about a different momentum than that.
