No JW could give you a satisfactory answer to that. I'm curious if anyone here has any plausible explanation.
There may be no apparant value or need for these creatures, but we are far from understanding all the complex interdependencies of nature. i find mosquitos particularly obnoxious though.
Maybe Satan created all bad things. Can Satan created things?

In some kind of dysfunctional state until it gets corrected
somehow.?? Whether that means a paradise earth, or a changed
state of existance ?? I used to have all the answers, then I realized
I had no answers. I do not retain any belief in Watchtower doctrines.
Try to imagine you never read a Watchtower or went to a meeting,
and clear your head and start all over from the beginning, where
anything is possible. I am no longer in love with the paradise earth
concept either. But I do retain a strong feeling of the continuance
of consiousness, in some form and a belief that there is a higher
more joyful existance possible beyond death.
I don't have a good answer. "God" doesn't speak to me.

mosquitos, ticks, leeches....Elders.
A CO told me that perhaps mosquitos attack us humans because we are dying creatures.. Perhaps the Climate will change in the New World, trapping mosquitos in a certain climate zone??? I guess they will just feed off everything except humans?
A better idea, IMO, is that mosquitos serve the purpose of innoculating Earth's inhabitants. When Aliens invade, they will die from disease before they can conquer our planet. We will live on because we have earned our right to be here thanks to the friendly mosquito's efforts to strengthen our immune system.
Ok, I just made that up. I have heard worse possible explanations..
because viruses and disease have as much right to life as you. what, you thought you were on top of the food chain? poor human.
