Yes,I'm sick of them promoting the simple way of life,and yet expect funds to come from the publishers.
They already cut down on the publications. Why don't they just use the Bible then. And cut back even further. No need to buld such an "estate",if the end was so near.
I guess Witnesses figure that will be used after armageddon,go figure.
I'm at the stage,where I am just disgusted with everything about this religion.

NOPE! We have not been able to pay our operating expenses at my KH for some time. We have Local Needs every couple of months about the privilege of giving to Jehovah! There is also talk of repairs that are needed and even a possible remodel in the future. Where will this money come from? Will we have to get a loan from the WTBTS?
If our KH is the center of true worship in our community, and lives are at stake, then why can't the WTBTS just take care of it? They are rich, we are poor. They say the KH is Jehovah's house, but they can't foot the bill when they have hundreds of millions, perhaps over billions of dollars? They expect us to keep contributing more money?!
The Elder giving the local needs talk even said we should contribute monthly. No tithing, no passing of the plate, but we will constantly tell you to give more, suggest an amount, and tell you how often to do it.
