I agree. The problem is this, JW's do not feel that way. The CO is the modern day Apostle Paul. He speaks for the collective Pope/GB. So I share your opinion on that. The facts are different..
I think that you have not been closely associated with the JW's for too long. You need to back up and punt. Or do whatever the English equivalent is. If you just want to be with family, I understand. You don't have to be baptized for that. If you are baptized, make no mistake, absolutely no dissention is allowed. You must agree with every idea that comes out of Brooklyn or you will be marked as weak. If you speak out too much, you will be considered a possible apostate. Depending on the Elder body, you could easily be DF'd.
Do some research on child molestation within the Organization too. Politics are one thing, but even the most hardened criminal on death row knows that molesting children is wrong. Yet in Victoria, Australia the WTBTS refused for years to comply with the Working With Children Act. Check that out my man.
