OK, I was just looking over the site I posted above and it looks like these people may have thier own CULT going on. I think their leader is "Jesus Moses". Anyway, the info on the "chip" stuff is still interesting to me.

Contrary to popular myth, no bar code includes the number 666. This belief arose because the number six is represented by a pattern similar to that of the guard bars used to mark the beginning, middle, and end of every bar code. Since the guard bars always appear three times in a given bar code, people who mistakenly read them as sixes claimed that the pattern 6-6-6 was embedded in every bar code. However, if you look closely at the '6' in a bar code, you will see that there is a wide white bar either to the left or the right of its pattern (depending upon where within the bar code the number is positioned), which is not the case with the guard bars. The only numbers on the bar code which are scanned are those shown in the conventional numerals underneath it.
I can see it having good implications in finding and identifying lost children.
The implanted devices are not new technology as far as data transfer and storage go. What is on the more recent side is the implantation of it into humans. These tiny rice sized implants are most likely circuits that derive power from the reader/scanner via radio transmission, the implanted chip has a tank circuit that will charge and power a small transmitter back to the scanner with the data included it the transmission. Proximity cards do the same thing without any physical contact. In the US, Mobil Oil has a "speed pass", when you buy gasoline, to give you a good example of such a device.
Does this technology mean it has a place in some prophecy written long ago? Who knows. (lol)
I personally don't think so, and would not put any credence in what the WT says either .
