  Oh man what a week! Where to begin?

  So, on Mon the 13 th we had our video released by JJ/Ray of JWStruggle, which is going great and we've had some great supportive comments, but we sent the link to a friend of ours who is a current JW but knows TTATT, and he replies, "Why would you do something like that? It's not going to help your case with the Elders at all!"

  Case? Um, we didn't know we had a case.

  But my daughter posted this topic a few months ago about what was going on with our family & the elders:

  But I wanted to update a few things.

  So the same night our video was released our Cousin Elder and another brother show up that evening UNANNOUNCED to talk about some 'concerns' they have. Cousin Elder introduced the other brother only as 'John' no last name, nothing about him being an elder in our congregation or anything. Not the COBE, or any other brother we know. Just John [CO?]. Oh crap! They know about the video. NOPE, it's about Hubby showing his NON-JW brother apostate pictures [ subliminal images in WT literature] when he was visiting him. Hubby assured them that he only had WT literature and explained that it was the 9/15/2005 WT that he showed his brother. Cousin Elder turns to Hubby and asks, "So what is the big deal about a few pictures then?" So then we explained that because of Hubby's brother showing their mom the pictures, she immediately started calling everyone we know and telling them that we've gone apostate. Never asked where the pictures came from, just tried and convicted us of all of this.

  So Cousin Elder asks, "Why would you show him those then?" Hubby replied that his brother liked artwork that had images hidden in the picture and why does he have to excuse showing his brother WT literature when it's true.

  Silence.

  Several other things were discussed. John had very little to say. We were never asked if we still believed the GB was the channel for God's earthly org. or any of those questions that usually come up during a JC meeting.

  But Sunday morning when I went to get the phone tie-in to see if 'John' was a CO visiting by chance, my pin # to get into their tie-in had been revoked. Haven't heard anything else yet. But the pin # "no longer authorized by the local congregation" was pretty telling of our execution.

  And since when do Non-JW family members get dragged into cong. matters? Or what they perceive is a cong. matter.

  I think it is best not to share or distribute Watchtower publications anymore since they will all be "apostate" literature one day. Almost every book they have published is now full "old" teachings.

  A similar thing happened to me. I compiled a binder full of Watchtower quotes of things we have changed our views on and that contained statements regarding our false Armageddon predictions, our doctrinal flip flops and the like.

  My daughter and my nephew refused to discuss any of it and actually threw the binder full of Watchtower quotes out in the trash.

  That is why it is best to avoid the Watchtower publications at all cost. What is truth today is tomorrows "apostacy."

  I know you must be upset and feel like the fecal matter has hit the fan and it probably has. The next couple of months will be tough but things will settle down one way or another. I am sorry you have to suffer this, but like me, you were in a cult and have to suffer the consequences of wanting to leave now. There is no honorable way out of this religion.

  Your crime was showing the pictures in a 'negative' way. Pointing out something off-colour or a bit pongy, with no commentary, just the literature, is considered apostate. ANYTHING slightly contradictory is considered apostate because these guys are so strapped into a mental straightjacket even asking why Jehovahmade cats to lick their butts would probably be apostate!

  Yep. disgusting the mind control they have over people. But unfortunately, they've made such a big deal over the 'mentally diseased' apostates, no JW will even listen.

  NEWLY ENLIGHTENED- It's always been amazing to me how these elders feel they just have an alleged " God given right " to drop by our houses unnannounced or uninvited. It's ridiculous. And then once they get into the house- proceeed to feel they can accuse us or condemn us for some perceived wrong we've allegedly done. In my opinion the elders and all WT higher ups are a bunch of criminals. They need to be indicted on crimes against humanity.

  My wife and I knew another fading JW on the board here who also was cut off from listening into meetings and not allowed to tie in on the phone. Similar situation where this person had exposed the elders unjust dealings and exposed criminal conduct - yet they cut this person off to avoid exposure. It's an incredibly criminal organization if you research and examine the cracks and crevasses. I'm glad we are out. Freedom of mind is sweet. Hang in there you two ! We are here as a support to you. Been there experienced this stuff myself

  This makes me think...why can't I go randomly knock on their door some evening say around 7:30pm and ask if I could talk to them about something important? And start reading some print outs of WT literature quotes?? Here's a couple I might share:

  You're right everyone!

  Ray, if you showed up at an Elder's door with those articles, I bet you would just get a blank stare and it wouldn't even 'dawn' on them that those articles prove that it is a CULT and NEVER was God's organization.

  Thank you all for your friendship. It's been like a circus around here and a rough week. Not from the clowns, but we had BOTH of our vehicles break their timing belts and do engine damage on the exact same day.

  Then I found out that the publisher who bought out, the original publisher who did my book back in 2002, 'accidently' down loaded my book files onto their computer and 'accidently' printed up my book again and has been selling it for the past 6 years.

  So we've had to deal with Clowns, Pirates, and broken cars.

  What are the mathematical probabilities of all that happening?
