Welcome Signgirl. I hope to hear more from you soon.
Also, whats the difference between being an "Aussie" and a "Kiwi"?
-
Prisca
Dutchie: the same difference between being an American and a Canadian.

Prisca
"Kiwi" is a slang term for a New Zealander, btw.
Australia and New Zealand are two completely different countries. New Zealand is made up of two main islands, Australia is the largest island continent in the world.

Pris,
I think we should point out to our northern friends (the Yanks) that
Australia is not Austria
!No, Ozzie's not joking! The times that this comes up, either on my travels or on the board!
So I hope we can correct this misunderstanding!!!
Cheers,

Hi Dutchie, nice to meet you... well I think the others cleared up your question on Australia and NZ.....the accents are different too. I've lived in Australia long enough now to talk like one, though the odd kiwi lingo may slip out on occassion....as well as the occassional swear word...ta ta
