The irony for me, seeing those guys getting chunky, is remembering many jw who were disgusted by overweight people and ridiculed them a LOT. I remember hearing one skinny sister telling another, that she always avoided sitting in the chairs most often chosen by fatties. Because they broke down the padding and then you'd be uncomfortable through the meeting. A lot of people really get mad at fat people, and feel like they put on weight deliberately.
