77 sunset strip
Yes, also Mannix...
"77 Sunset Strip" snap, snap . . .remember the theme song?
Not really, I was still into cartoons, and the Munsters and such
77 Sunset strip
was more of a ear worm than anything else
Secret agent man also became an ear worm to my ears
Secret Agent Man was an interesting them song - a British TV series which they decided had need of an American rock-a-billy theme.
Johnny Rivers.
That was a classic.
Have we forgotten Rawhide? The TV Horse Opera that made Clint Eastwood a star.
They had a Rawhide marathon a couple a weekends back
I didn't get no housework done that mornin'
I can't remember the name brand of our TV
growin up. All I know It had long legs
When you cut it on, it took a long time for the picture tube to heat up
before you could see the picture
And when they showed black folks on T.V.
we had to turn it bright as it could go to see their face
but then , all the white folk disappeared
Every year, we couldn't wait to see the wizard of oz
it wasn't until we got a new black and white TV , that I realized
it only snowed in the poppy fields, and not through the whole picture
Who could ever imagine, that we would be payin' a price
for what used to be free
Anyway BTTT

I'm not sure if this one has already been mentioned. But this can certainly be added to the list of 'Silly': The Soupy Sales Show!
This was the comic show where at the end of each episode Soupy Sales would get a pie in the face.
Does anybody remember, "Mr Lucky"? That was 1959-1960. Lots of excitement.
The Sonny and Cher show 1971. Then later, after they broke up it was just The Cher Show. Cher was a born, showman.
There was a silly show with Patrick Duffy as the Aquaman in The Man From Atlantis (next he was on the TV show Dallas). That was silly - goofy.
Then there was David Carradine as a wise saying Monk in "Kung Fu". It was always interesting because it was so different, but I wouldn't consider it "silly", sorry. You are looking for silly tonight.
Just Lois
TV is now dead. It's all garbage these days...all cooking shows, fashion shows, shallow and obnoxious reality tv, etc. Take me back to the 70's and 80's anyday.
