A person who can afford a Ferrari... wouldn't bat an eye at the price.... and.... wouldn't want to drive on sub par roadways.. so I only see that as a win win for a true driving enthusiast...

I find that kind of low some places it one and a half times espacailly on a Ferrari yet the rich still buy them, your point?
My point was that taxes are extremely high in the socialized Nordic countries.

I think you'll find it's usually around the 20% mark across Europe. Expensive, yes ... but so are social systems and it's hard to beat a taxation system that works based on consumption, expecially for optional / luxury goods.
