Rupert Grint's good but he's way too young. The Doctors are getting younger and younger, its ridiculous. Only a matter of time before a teenage doctor appears. There's an obsession with youthful, model actors these days, I just don't bother watching a lot of otherwise good stuff because of it.

From David to Matt the doctor became a childish character. The show demographic dropped to the lowest common denominator. They were sometimes engaging and the Pond and Rory kept it lively but it was OK. Who ever the Doctor is next time let's hope the writing improves beyond the current storyline. Its starting to drag.

Except for the finale, season 7 sucked. Not Matt Smith's fault, it's Steve Moffatt's fault. Once Russell Davies left, the storylines took a dive in quality.
the more I think of it, the more I like the idea of a James Earl Jones sort of Dr. -- it would certainly give the show gravitas
Can't see that dignified an actor kicking a Dalek's ass, though. Maybe rethink this.
