My Grammy passed away this morning...

Peacefully after a short bout with leukemia. She was 88 years old and the foundation of my life. She will be sadly missed by me and everyone whose lives she has touched.
Peace be with you, Grammy. I love you and we will find a way to connect.

She will always live in your memories and she will be brought to mind everyday by the smallest little things.
I am 67 and lost my beloved grandparents decades ago. I still have them visit my dreams as well as waking thoughts.

I hope you find a way to connect too. I miss my father very much. Some times i feel as though he is still here. But I do wish I could talk to him.

I'm so sorry, Diana. Your grandma sounds a lot like mine. We can console ourselves somewhat by remembering how lucky we were to have them with us for so long. A lot of people lose grandparents in childhood.
