My daylilies are right around the corner, as the Amarylis (sp?) are budding, and the daffodils are fading......I've been an avid gardner for over 2 decades now - at least an acre under active cultivation. Actually, I threw a couple of tomatoes in one year, but veggies just don't *do* it for me, ya know?
And my akc dachshund had a litter - right on the heels of my other dach. last month. Just sold the last of 12 pups last week.
This place is my "down time." I come here during working hours to take a break from car business stuff - which doesn't thrill me at all. And at night when watching tv, which doesn't thrill me either.
Guess Simon's the Big Thrill, eh?

waiting I'm just teasing ya. I do enjoy your posts. Funny thing about gardens. When I was a city dweller I had the most beautiful garden there ever was. I did have a veggie center, but I loved my flowers including a water lilly section.
Now I live on 40 acres and have leased several hundred more acres. Know what my garden has here? Horse crap, yes, horse crap.
