4/19 Cincinnati XJW Potluck!

Hello friends and loved ones...
I met with a couple of fellow XJW's this evening from the Cincinnati area and we've decided to have a Pre-Apostafest gathering. We wish to stress that all XJW's and JW's alike are welcome. This will be a friendly gathering for people to get aquainted...renew old friendships and fellowship with one another. We will be leaving the religious stuff and shunning at the door ;)
We are hoping to attract people from all over the tri-state area...and beyond.
The details are still in the making so please keep your eyes peeled for further information. Currently we are checking out a couple of options for a 'meeting' place. Our 'assembly' date is set for Friday April 19th at 6:30 pm.

Why don't u guys all hip hop on a plane and come over to our Melbourne Apostafest in May...you can do an 'Apostafest Crawl'.
Same agenda as yours...just different accents

How many people will be attending do you think? If it is around ten or twenty? Then we could just have it at my house if you wanted. I have plenty of space, especially a full size attic. Otherwise keep me posted. I live right near Hyde Park.

Great idea, Lizard! I'm sure you'll have a great time meeting other ex-jws, and jws who are questioning things.

We started having these types of gatherings in Sydney about a year or so ago. We now have them on a regular basis and have made many new friends.

I love to take pictures...I will make sure we get some posted after the big event...I hope to see a really good turn out!

In the past, Intuit39 has had small groups of xJWs get together for Thanksgiving, birthday parties and any excuse possible. There are usually around 20 people or more. We are hoping by posting here, that we have an even bigger turnout!

Everyone is welcome! If you have ever wanted to meet a great bunch of people and make some new friends in the process, this will be a great opportunity for you!

Wow! This is great. Hopefully all you Southwest Ohio, Tristate, and Northern Kentucky people will all show up!

Thanks, Hyghlandyr, for the offer--I just moved from Norwood and had a great space there. We might have to take you up on your offer. We also discussed rotating meetings around the area, and even meeting in restaurants for those who aren't still wary of being seen enjoying themselves with friends in public ;))
