    Hi Sndy420,

When I left the organization I didn't know anything about other religions. Very fortunately for me, I met some helpful ex-jws who had moved on to a faith in our Lord.

But- do any of you feel like there is a void spiritually? And if so how have you filled it???
I am what is known as a born again Christian, but I do not necessarily agree with everything every other Christian believes in. I answer only to our God and my Savior Jesus.

Remember, the purpose of congregations/churches, is for showing love and building each other up. I do not see meeting/church attendance as critical to pleasing God. I think it is for our benifit, and we would be wise to use the association, but I do not believe my salvation depends on church attendance.

His name is Jesus, and there is freedom in Him. I am glad you are here :) Try reading a proper translation of the Bible by yourself. Like a gospel, or an epistle. Realize that this was written to *you* and not some special class of people. Let it speak to you and see what God says. Also realize that salvation is by faith, always was and always will be. Works is a meeger attempt to earn something we cannot buy. Email me if you ever want to chat. God Bless :)

After my whole-souled decade of devotion to the borg (love that term), the best gifts were a bible not scripted by the society, and the Crises of Conscience book.
It feels wonderful to not have a gazillion books and magazines to study, but to simply pick up the bible and read.

    Hi Sndy

Maybe it is not a spiritual void at all. You seem to be a very spiritual person without the help of the WT.

Do you find you have more time now? I went to my niece's school soccer game the other day, the best afternoon I've had in 20 years as a JW. I plan to do more of this.

I am having the time of my life filling this "time void" left by previous Watchtower obligations.

    Nikola
