Thanks lost...now back to my topic " whats the point of this site" ...well a lot of posts are about preconceived notions about the world, a lot are debatable and now i believe Jesus was the creation of Greek mythology...thats kind of a hard smack in the face...was i ready for that? well it could have hit me more slowley...

but thats a good point S censorship...and my simple answer this site has to be censored. I think we should agree on that. So who sets the standards and decides if material is unsuitable? ME ME ME...or lets have a commitee...come on censorship has to be down to the owner?

I don't mind the ads one bit. Mostly.........shhhhhhh...........I don't even see them.

But they are so often just ads for things I have been searching. OK!! Yes!! It's shoes!

I have a cute ad story. One time there was a debate between one poster who hears Christ directly. He has a different name. I thought it bunk. Discussion followed. I remarked that I hate when women fight each other - the cattiness. Soon, I saw cat ads-pussy cats- on the side of my screen. Other members reported they started viewing cats, too.

Perhaps we should meet off line and plan some incredible effort to get back at the ads. It is better than Mad Men to learn how advertising works. What is funny is that I am not the least interested in the ads they post. I'm glad that they pay the bills. Still, I remain a dog lover despite the cat ads. I also have no keen desire to learn about Armstrong and his religion. The ads here are so insulting that they are camp.
