I have a loved one who suffers from this malady. I'm so grateful there's now a name for it.
well, now I understand things I didn't understand before. I think I have bitchy resting face! I wonder if there's a support group anywhere?
I too suffer from BRF. I have a chronic nasty frown due to being half blind and wrinkling my face up trying to see. I always look really angry.
I tend to look like I'm frowning when I'm concentrating on work. Usually, I am a smiling, friendly person. It used to really irritate me at work, when people would walk up to my (crazy busy) desk and interrupt me to ask "Why aren't you smiling?" It's all part of the package - we wimmins are always supposed to be smiling.
Often, I have wondered - How many men are expected to be smiling all the time?

My Wife's bossy dissapproving oldest sister has this. I call it "JUDGIE FACE"
Rene Zellweger has this malady too. (click here and scroll down)
Back in the day, they just called it ugly. And, if it was really bad, fugly. Nowadays, more and more simple things are getting multiple word renames. Whats w that?

i suffer from asshole rest face but im like the chick at the end, i am an asshole. very funny. maybe this will show up in the DSM VIII.
No, S. It's NOT about being ugly. It's about being 'expected' to have a smile on your face all the time.
