Scott Now you think the older woman must be a lesbian?
Read back in this thread this woman he is so concerned
about is NOT his girlfriend and is telling him she has has
someone in another State. The older woman may be
seeking her out for a variety of reasons (1) she has a son
and thinks the girl would be a good daughter in law
(2) since the girl is friendly to her she thinks the girl likes her
(3) None of this has to have anything to do with sex or
being a "sycophant" which is like a social climber.
(4) This is the stupidset thread I ever read.

Maybe the younger woman can't keep her hands out of the middle aged lady's husband's pants?

I think Iamallcool should just hit on the 50 year old lady and creep her out enough that she does not come by.

The older woman may simply be the local gossip, in to everyone's business. I agree they are hard to dissuade but with firmness and persistence it can be done. A twenty-four year old woman should learn how to be firm.

I doubt the fiftish lady is stalking the 24 year old.

FHN, it is all true, I have seen it with my own eyes too. You are entitled to your opinion.

You don't need a restraining order. All she has to do is visit the local precinct when they are not busy with hardened criminals. A "friend" stalks, harasses, and includes death threats. Everyone is too nice to do something. Well, someone with sense visited the local police station. She received a very direct promise from the law enforcement agency that one more time and she will face more than a restrainig order. So far "friend" is maintaining control. The person who spoke with the police may be the best friend she ever had.
I still don't understand the stalking. Is she just a garrulous senior citizen who is trying to lend some wisdom and niceness to a young person in need? Is she a lesbian?
There are some time-honored statements: "My life is very busy now. I would love to be friendlier if I had time but I just don't have time now. Sigh."
"I am so busy that I have no time for a social life, Sigh." "My job is very hectic. I can barely maintain a home. My home is a mess. The kids are neglected. Otherwise, I would love to be your friend."
"Don't trust anyone over 30." "You are clearly more than 30 so drop dead."
Your youngster friend should realize that if she is lucky, she may stand in the shoes of the old lady much sooner than she realizes.
