Our east coast office right off the exit just past the energy plant in the opening scenes. I get a kick out of seeing it every time.

So sad he died so young. He was a Great Actor. Tony Soprano was one of my favorite TV characters.

My neighbour looks exactly like Tony Soprano, he's even the same age. People ask him all the time if he's Tony Soprano or "That guy from TV". I swear he could have filled in for his body double and fooled a lot of people.

I`m shocked 51 is so young , he was an actor that commanded respect in the roles he took .

I wonder if his life just cut to black?

I'm sure it did. I always felt the Sopranos finale was the perfect ending, though it upset a lot of fans.

    Only 51. That's young!

    Sad for his family

I noticed he was putting on weight. He was moving beyond his Soprano type casting into very different roles. Oh, I read recently someplace that David Chase and he were making a film or a longer series based on New Jersey. I hope they managed to complete it.

I grew up surrounded by Tony Sopranos. Now that I am safely away, I miss the crowd. Some elementary school classmates from around the world were discussing how much we miss Newark, NJ. It is very funny b/c we could not wait to leave. If the character's family had not moved to West Orange, Tony and I would be in the same high school. When they showed scenes of Newark, I could not believe the lengths and money they spend to make it authentic.

New Jersey always had these ineffective economic development projects going. It is hard to live between NY and Philadelphia and get respect. Never in my lifetime would I believe New Jersey would be so hot as it is now. The show had to be true labor of love. My mother and I collapsed laughing when we first saw Carmella and her clothing.
