i made a tiny comment about the smaller and poorer quality of the wt magazines to my wife (in) she retorted "thats because they are using the internet.!"
It was not her words and her reply was almost rehearsed no doubt learned at the MS.
Pretty good given the wts warnings against all things internet until relatively recently.
People will do things they otherwise wouldn't when money becomes tight. The Society knows that the the younger generations are relying on the phyical printed page less and less and if they want to remain relevant, they have to go with the flow.
Whatever a JW says about the mags it will be a positive spin. They know the penalty for negative speech against their gods the holy GB.
At the meeting last night someone answered up and said how the "half-sized magazines are progress".
I was going to ask if reducing them to zero pages would be better still.
