I don't know, but the article does highlight how puchasing stolen / smuggled goods can be aiding terrorism.

Proverbs 19:9 English Standard Version (ESV) "A false witness will not go unpunished, and he who breathes out lies will perish."

Quiet One - Imagine your next door neighbour bangs on your door pleading for help. She is bruised and bleeding and tells you she has been beaten by her husband who you know to be abusive.
A short while later the door rings again and when you open it and there is her husband demanding to know if you are sheltering his wife.
Do you tell him the truth or do you deceive him?
I predict you won't give a straight answer. Prove me wrong.

Well, if the neighbor is banging at the door, don't answer, call the police.
If the guy was told she wasn't there he would go to another neighbor , possibly in more of a rage.

Um, you seem to have the wrong idea of me..(don't worry it happens a lot). I would absolutely lie to that man outright, no question, especially where a womans safety was involved. Maybe I gave the wrong impression, I quoted the Bible to provoke a response, just to kickstart the thread.. Okage made the following comment on another thread (district convention badge needed) which inspired me to start this: ""A few days now and not a word about how deceiving people is wrong no matter what the goal is.""

Nonjwspouse-- In Coftys excellent hypothetical situation, you have already opened the door. Not opening it is NOT an option :)

No worries ;) I thought that it would be an interesting topic, perhaps the word 'immoral' is offputting?
