No.1: To give up on WT and
do as Yan Biblyan did, but
restrained myself from "everything", because
not close to 99% of independently filed patents pan out.

To exite the JW world with my wife at age 23.
To go into business for ourselves.
To invest wisely in property and mutual funds and be able to retire at age 60.
To share everything with our son and his family without anything being conditional.

I decided I was very ignorant and needed to start reading non-fiction in my late twenties. It wasn't just the beginning of the end for my JW beliefs. It was also the beginning of getting that buzz from learning something new. It was hard work, like getting rusty machinery to grind around but I just started with things I was interested in. Art, ancient Greece, philosophy. I got a reporters notebook and wrote a question on each page, things I didn't know. It took months to answer those questions, no internet then. I found out that Leonardo da Vinci probably invented balloons! I have never lost the buzz of using my mind, learning something new. It is one of the great pleasures of my life.

Do a Us patent search, everybody else is a joke, and Europe too complicated. There is a good guidance book:
"You can patent it yourself." Perlman the author I think.
Do not use invention services.
dont spend, borrow money for it.
