My Daughter told a LIE!!!!!!

    Well it had to happen.

The twelve year old told a whopper.

However, she didn't lie to us. Nope, she lied to my parents.

Some weeks back she innocently told them she had been to see Lord of the Rings twice and you can guess their reaction:

    Demons
    Demons
    and more
    Demons........

They tried to convince me to NOT allow her to see anything having to do with the "other worlds." I didn't argue the point, but they rode her HARD.

Two weeks ago she bought the book "Lord of the Rings" --she has been reading it daily for an hour or so. (Nice to see her face stuck in a book, too.)

My parents called last night and asked her, "So what are you doing?"

    "Reading."

    "Reading What?"

    long pause

    "Old Yeller."

    LOL

    . She's using Theokratic War Strategy--on them.

Maybe she should read old yeller too, because the grandparents are sure to say next time they see her,"so how was that old yeller book?"

Aaaah ya don't need to read old yeller. If questions arise ya just say 'really sad book, don't want to talk about it'.

I braved the demons to see Lord of the Rings myself. I expected a lot more. Bored me to death.

LOL Musky she's two steps ahead of you.

Not only did she ingratiate herself by saying she's reading "Old Yeller"--a book *they* gave her, but the fact is she really has read it a couple of times.

    All bases covered--that's my girl!

Ah, isn't normal kid stuff wonderful??? But, don't say she lied, just say she engaged in disinformation. On top of that, since it would only be a lie if the one she was speaking to was entitled to know the truth, there was no need for the grandparents to know what she was reading, right?

Ain't Watchtower doctrine grand, when used for enjoyment?

If God's Spirit is filling a Kingdom Hall, how is it that Satan can manuever the ones within that Kingdom Hall at the same time?

    Quid pro quo!

With regards to "Old Yeller," the whole plot is this:

There is a nice dog and people love him.

    Dog dies.

    Audience cries that dog dies.

Then the final credits roll.....while people are still crying. Then some of those people go home and beat their kids, but every time they think of the movie, they cry. And they may beat their kids, but they'll NEVER kick a dog again.

    Simple!

That is sooooo funny! Wish my kid's lies were that innocent!

    You guys are soooo funny.

What's more--she perfected the JW-youth double lifestyle standard in one fell swoop!

JW kids telling their parents what they want to HEAR instead of telling them the TRUTH. The scenario is repeated a million times on a daily basis; and the parents feel soooooooo good that they're raising a 'scripturally minded kid'--when the fact is, they're raising LIARS.
