What piece of WT literature is worth holding onto, or have you kept? Why?

  The older ones go for a lot of $ on Ebay. Especially the Studies in the Scriptures. I've kept a 1908 Watchtower, interesting read to say the least

  I held on to my library for some time hoping I could use the old literature to make a point to dubs about the ever changing new light. Well old or new, most dubs don't read their own literature and would rather learn by being told what is fact. I finally dumped it all

  ive had no watchtower litter in my life for 30 years--not even a bible--no point.

  earlier this year i cleared my jw dad's house out--he went into a care home. all he wanted was his bible. all the books--and 1000's of old magazines--went to the tip. i washed my hands afterwards.

  aunt fancy: I have the complete set of Studies in The Scriptures that are leather bound with gold leaf on the sides. I will keep that for now and anything that is out of print but I am looking forward to this winter when we sit down and burn all of that junk.

  FYI- I recently saw a complete "Studies In The Scriptures" set on Ebay for $1,400.

  The older literature is very valuable. Personally, I'd shelve my emotions and not burn or throw away anything. Sell the literature and make a little $$.

  I still have a pretty complete library going back to the late 1800s, maybe its because of my feelings for my grandparents.
