  There's nothing wrong with fireworks....just going to national holiday events to see them. Staying at home and watching from your yard or the yard of a friend, on tv, is fine as long as you don't go advertising it. Shooting off legal fireworks on anything but a national holiday is fine. Bethelites went to the roof of buildings when fireworks were shot off.

  Year's past, watched fireworks on July 4th with the entire congregation on the roof of 90 Sands. Watching fireworks is not taboo.

  I just yesterday told my oldest son that holidays are not necessarily bad and neither are birthdays, I showed him the scriptures at romans 14:5-6 and colossians 2:16 KJV is the best for Colossians because it has the word 'holiday' right there. Any way then i told him that the ORG has done this to just be different from other christian churches.

  I'm not going to defend the ORG or hide bible truths from my kids no matter what the ORG does to me. If they want to DF me for showing my kids truths from the bible, let them. That will totally show the kids their hypocrisy, no matter what, I win.
