Welcome Dillo Trace, I think you will find the more you read the more you will realize how many things were a big lie. JWFacts is a great site for finding out what was a false belief. My husband and I stopped going after last years DC. When they started to tell us we had to listen to the Elders, my husband about flipped out over that one. We left early on Friday and never returned! I am glad that so far your fade has been working, you had a perfect situation to fade.

Welcome and glad you are awake now. Wait till you have been here longer. You will learn more about this crazy religion than you would ever learn when you were active.

Hello, your'e among friends here, even if we have differing views on a number of things. But after an initial struggle (it will ease in time) you will be able to grab YOUR life in YOUR hands and realise freedom from the cult equals sheer joy and happiness because YOU are in control of it. I wish you increasing inner peace and contentment.x

    Welcome DilloTrace!

It's fantastic that you've decided to post, and tell your story.

There is something magical about JWN and being given our voice back.

May you enjoy the ride and be enriched as many others have.

    Best wishes

Welcome DT...Good to have you aboard !!I am the Granny on board.& Unlike most of you I LOVED!
Knocking on doors.( yeah I know I am nuts)But being a mouthy woman ,I would put my foot in the door
& talk!!!Made 10 people JWS!!!!I was devastated when they kicked me out because I admitted I didnt
believe Jesus came in 1914...wanted to kill myself. ( that was 2 years after my hubby died, who used to beat me
to stop being a JW)The elders had told me Jah!! was pleased that I was beaten for HIM!!!!That PROVED I
was a GOOD JW!! I was promised a place on the Paradise earth...
My family 7 of them still dont talk to me on the orders of the UNFAITHFUL & EVIL slave class
I am a born again Christian NOW!!!! & I know many think that sounds nuts!but I dont need anyone to tell
me what to believe.I can THINK for myself & use the brain I was given///Yes as you cAN see I am STILL

Welcome, Dillo Trace. I'll give you an alternative view of the introverts, those who think they are not a "people person". It may be that you are hyper-aware of the people around you. You can feel the discomfort, for instance, of a householder as you try and shove a message they haven't asked for down their throat. So being around people and their broadcasted feelings is exhausting. Remaining glib and superficial is exhausting.

I know this fits me very well.
