Simon - I have hundreds of talks on CD that have been converted to WAV or whatever. This includes some Yankee Stadium Knorr rubbish complete with airplanes flying over.

Although it would be interesting to pull out some embarrassing gems, it would also be incredibly painful to have to listen to all those. Maybe some speech-to-text software could be used to make it searchable or it could be "crowd-sourced" to lots of people (each listen to a little part) ...
Simon - I would upload some of the boring kakky-doo-dahs but I think there are sites around with this stuff already on. I think JWBrothers is one...if memory serves.
