With all the threads about the dc, I am wondering why on earth does the wt use the wording 'human' apostates? What? will next year have a 'spiritual' apostate talk? I don't get it and no, I have not and will not go to their site and watch the mind numbing video or whatever.....

- Human Apostates (1 John 2:19)
By presenting Satan as the first apostate, it makes the demonizing of us mere human apostates all the stronger.
It's a perfect example of how to use language to manipulate; it's the way propaganda works. WT leaders are masters at it.

They use the term "human apostates" because they view the Demons as angelic apostates. In their theology, Demons were once perfect angels and decided to help save mankind from joke-hova's tyranny. Joke-hova banished them, and that's what supposedly made them Demons--and angelic apostates.

Again we have a serious abuse and misapplication of scripture. Here he is speaking of the Antichrist, not apostates. The same goes for 2 John (7, 11) This one you should not greet (as a fellow Christian, NET footnote: Do not give him any greeting does not mean to insult the person. It means "do not greet the person as a fellow Christian" (which is impossible anyway since the opponents are not genuine believers in the author's opinion):
1 8 Young children, it is the last hour, and, just as YOU have heard that antichrist is coming, even now there have come to be many antichrists; from which fact we gain the knowledge that it is the last hour.
19 They went out from us, but they were not of our sort; for if they had been of our sort, they would have remained with us. But [they went out] that it might be shown up that not all are of our sort.

Perhaps they use the term " human apostaes " so as not to get confused with " alien apostates " which I've been informed are green in color. Or a paltry gray. Who knows what makes the WT Society do ANYTHING that they do ? WT leaders are $hit crazy. Yes, you're right. These apostates and opposers would be less inclined to contribute to their coffers, and they will discourage others to contribute (to the PPP = Pedophile Protection Program).
