Jeffro: According to the JW 2012 and 2013 Yearbooks, the increase in the number of peak publishers from 2011 to 2012 was 123327.
Yet they report that the number baptised was 268777.
This means that about 145450 stopped reporting.This is one of the few times in the Soc's history that the number who stopped reporting exceeded the increase in peak publishers.
It also happened a lot in the years after 1975.

Incidentally, the number baptised since 2000 is 3,236,610.
The increase since 2000 is 1,664,680.

A lot of those "stopped reporting" because they died. I.e., you have to take mortality into account.
If you figure about 1% mortality over the whole JW population, then about 70,000 or so stopped reporting due to other issues - likely most were DF-ed.
Incidentally, the number of new baptisms is way down from 15-20 years ago - the JWs used to have well over 300,000 per year baptized in the 90's.
