Nice waste of time to attend. Joke-hova is patient with us so it can enslave us with even worse problems, while we complain about them. And, instead of just listening, why not do something to eliminate them? And not just the minimum. What's with this giving the exact change? How often do you hear about someone that needed a specific sum to pay a bill, and got just that exact amount? This shows that joke-hova wants us to suffer, and views our complaints as evidence that its plans are working. And, it keeps us going to suffer some more. Instead of blowing out to serve Satan, people are willing to put up with joke-hova not doing anything on the premise that at least it will listen to the same complaints instead of fixing them.

I believe that they have that quite backwards. It's we the helpless sheep that are the ones asking and waiting ever so patiently for the laws of physics, or others free will to be suspended for us. Another wonderful example of WT$ leap in logic is that they presume to know that the diety is patient as we pray. The last several Book Bible Study publications that they come out with (e.g. Bearing Witness) are proof positive that their writing skills are in decline.

Their Jeremiah book is a complete joke! Unlike other verse-by-verse considerations of some Bible books, they didn't do that with the book of Jeremiah. Of course, on the surface, if asked about the book of Jeremiah, many JWs would proudly say, we have a whole book devoted to consider the book of Jeremiah. But their Jeremiah book is 'special'. Key scriptures in Jeremiah contradicts JW doctrine, so verse-by-verse was out of the question (probably having learned from their Daniel and Isaiah efforts that expose problems with JW interpretations). So instead, they try to extract other 'lessons' from the book.

Priceless. Absolutely ridiculously priceless garbage. There are many r&f with real chronic problems including real chronic long-term physical pain problems. How demeaning & demoralizing.

I agree the Jeremiah book is a complete abomination. Its full of opinions not backed by scripture, its one of the worst publications they've ever put out.

Well, I don’t know about that. I can’t help but think about a couple of occasions in the Scriptures which say otherwise:
• Uzzah touched the Ark of the Covenant just as a knee-jerk reaction to stabilize it when it was about to fall off the wagon (“the bulls nearly caused an upset”) and was heartlessly struck down and killed by Jehovah. Both accounts state that “Jehovah’s anger blazed against Uzzah.” – 2 Samuel 6:6, 7; 1 Chronicles 13:9, 10.
• The other occasion was when Jehovah killed a whole bunch of people who were reaping the wheat harvest simply because they happened to look at the Ark of the Covenant when it was being carried back from the Philistines. The account states that Jehovah “struck down among the people seventy men—fifty thousand men—and the people began mourning because Jehovah had struck down the people with a great slaughter.” – 1 Samuel 6:19.
That Jehovah sure had a bad temper when it came to his Ark of the Covenant! That’s far more extreme than even the most abusive husband. If that’s not an anger management problem, then I don’t know what is.
