I really hope you are right about God watching us. I am not proud of everything I do, but it would be good to know that someone up there cares.I lost most of my faith several months ago, and I am working on finding real faith and real truth. I hope God sees that I care that he is watching us.

This idea that we must "fear God" -- leads to the natural question, what is the consequence if we don't, or if we don't do it quite right?
Do we need to live in fear that if we "don't behave 24/7" that we're going to suffer eternally or never be resurrected (or whatever the consequence would be)?
And what does "behave" mean? Are we supposed to praise Jesus every waking hour and be a constant proclaimer of his goodness to everyone? Or are we supposed to live life best as we can?
It seems to me that God is a rather "distant observer" of us individually. There's no clear evidence that he takes a hand in each of our lives, or even wants to.
So why not just be the best we can be, with any abilities our Creator may have given us, rather than live in fear because he's some sort of "Big Brother" watching us over our shoulder?

WELL lots a folk on this forum are worried people are watching / guys R watching / girls R watchin / their pets are staring so I thought I would throw in God is watching us all---sooo why worry...I am real silly when I catch someone staring I stare back--nothing like good eye contact and pick my nose (not politically correct to pick my nose I know) PEOPLE sure worry about the silliest things dont we???? DAMNED cold here in cowtown USA -- one day 90 degrees high and today mid 60 degrees..Suppose to be $3 a gallon for gas by summer--I do public transpo so I need to worry about such things as cost of gas for cars??GOTA take my meds lotsa them and I do not need to see the shrink for another 4 months / 2 months if I need to so call him for an appointment..etc. etc.I AM LINDA and LISA ia herself / MAMIE kitty is meow herself--so what is so wrong with TAKING ONE DAY AT TIME / one chore at a time and one step at a time and doing your best / giving it your best shot--no big thing YOU THINK U R being stared at stare back--nothing like GOOD eye contact I always say !!!
