  I just thought about how the eskimos or inuits possibly used to take the old and useless persons and put them on a piece of ice alone and send them

  off to basically die on the piece of flaoting ice that is seperated from the mainland.

  What you are doing is the exact opposite, you have been ON that piece of floating ice seperated from humanity in general and have decided to break off a smaller piece and head for the mainland to live out a good life as you are not used up.

  You know, when I first began posting here, I remember how shocked I was at your avatar, LOL. Some of your words were so terrifying to me, so "apostate"!!
  Yet your words were also filled with thoughtfulness, sincerity, intelligence, satire, keen observations, clear thinking, occasional anger & angst, and all your words and insights were very very helpful to me!!
  
  It helped break down the WT walls, to see people like you who were once ELDERS in the congregations, revealing the dark cavernous underbelly of the WTS and its hidden teeth (now not so hidden!) and its duplicity and inner workings, lies, scandals and hypocrisy. They are no better than any other man-led belief system (and in may ways, much worse!) and your posts and your pain and your journey away from it all has been cathartic and healing. I salute you, brother, and wish I could shake your hand as you carry onward and leave the WT shit behind.

  Well, I saw this thread early this morning, but I just don't want to say good-bye.

  I am both sad and happy.

  Sad to see you go. I WILL miss you and I will miss talking with you, even though I could not give you the answers you wanted (only One can). As others have said, you have contributed a great deal, and you are sincere, funny, and respectful. I care about you and am glad to have known you.

  So then I am also happy to see you move on from those who have hurt you and held you back from life. Go and live yours, as YOU choose.

  May you have peace on your journey, and enjoyment and love in your life.

  Lots of love to you, and please do check in here and then when you want to share the good in your life, or need a place to share/vent/find some support about the not-so-good.
