It's true that almost all JW teachings are based on the leadership's interpretations of the Bible. But much of the Bible is so ambiguous that just about any opinion can be 'based on the Bible'. It's a fairly meaningless assertion, especially in the case of 'Bible-based principles'.

But much of the Bible is so ambiguous that just about any opinion can be 'based on the Bible'.
This explains why there are 41,000 Christian denominations worldwide.
Not a very clear Biblical message, is it?

Apologies to all for the delay, who asked for the 8 reversals/abandonment of doctrines which I found in the July 15th Watchtower - I had to deal with some of 'life's trials'.
Anyway, second apology = there are nine reversals! Here's what I scavenged from the most notable Watchtower I've ever read. It may be far more significant than many people realise!
And before anyone whinges that one or two are 'old light', the fact remains that all of them are rejecting what was once 'inspired truth' from the revered FDS, and disagreeing with any one of these (now current) falsehoods would have resulted in your "stoning to death" and shunning by all whom you loved.
All of these changes are reversals - they are not enhancements or 'new light' on long held beliefs - and clearly, they seriously contradict what the Reasoning Book, Insight Books, and decades of Watchtowers taught us to believe was God-given truth!
These are what was once taught as 'truth' by God's sole channel of communication!
1. The Great Tribulation started in 1914 & ended in 1918 - Page 3, par 3.
2. The judging of the sheep and goats began in 1914 - Page 6, par 10
3. Those who die before the Great Tribulation and have rejected the Kingdom message will not be resurrected.
4. Russell promised for decades that all the anointed were going to heaven in 1914 Page 12 par 8.
5. Babylon the Great (world empire of false religion) fell in 1919 - Page 12, par 11
6. The Faithful & Discreet Slave was appointed at Pentecost 33 C.E. Page 20, par 3
7. The 'domestics' are only the anointed - Page 23, par 13
8. There is an 'evil slave class' - Box on Page 24 *
9. Jesus appointed the FDS over all his belongings in 1919 - Page 24, pars 15,16
* It's noteworthy that the WTBTS uses a quote from one of apostate Christendom's Bible Scholars, to justify their new teaching that there is no such thing as "an evil slave class". (See the NET Bible online - Matt. 24:48 footnote)

Thank you, The Searcher.
Going through them one by one and what jumps out to me is they "discern" things differently to what they did in the past.
If they are Gods channel of communication were these "clarifications" the result of the GB changing their mind about them or God changing his mind about them?

were these "clarifications" the result of the GB changing their mind about them or God changing his mind about them?
The answer to this question is one that a JW will avoid confronting at all costs.
All answers lead to either, A) The WT is wrong, or B) God is wrong.

"ADCMShirley",
How could the WT previously consider the "annointed" as "domestics" when they were at the same time doing all the feeding. Is it possible that the "domestics" got switched in the graphic?
