  Parrish hopping happens out in the "world" too, I know a family that crosses town to another church... passing several of their denomination's churches on the way. Not a big deal.

  I'm grateful for ones like Blondie who will dig that stuff up.

  when I (as the family head) decided that my family might try for a "season of refreshing" at a neighboring congregation, we were all but disfellowshipped for it. And that was without any of the ugly stuff that many have had between themselves and their elders.

  They arrange it so there is nothing worth my time within the group I am assigned, so I don't go at all.
