I like how the elder starts talking that baptism is really more than it is and then he mentions the name Jehovah and how few christians use it and i guess in his mind get baptised with it. But does the bible say get baptised in the jehovahs name, no and did the apostles baptized in the name of the father no. In Fact many bible scholars say that the scripture in matt 28 that says in the name of the father the son and holy spirit was a scripture changed to help imply or promote the idea of the trinity.

It won't be until the situation gets so out of hand that the society is forced to print something that they will acknowledge it. Then it will change from the above to.

These things will happen in the time of the end.
Satan s attack on gods organisation. Etc.
I think those in the know in Dubbie land are trying to work out strategies in making the best of a worst possible situation.

My doubts got quite a push along when I attended a baptism to see a little girl (9) being baptised.

@ frankiespeakin - you make a really good point IMO about chipping away at these guys that answer the phone. Having one of them learn TTATT and be on the inside could be THE dealbreaker for WT someday. Remember the movie with Russel Crowe, "Inside Man"?

Joe134, doing just that (googling jehovah's witnesses child abuse) is what led me to TTATT and leaving JW.

Did you ever see that one Star Trek where they thought they were dealing with a super alien instead it was a small lonely one man show with cheap tricks and threats.

WTBTS does not need a printing press any more! The top person does not need money to keep it going. If it is the GB they got plenty of money and buildings to keep the appearances of rich head quarters. Technically do they even need people or just computers.
What ever the case is it could thrive with a few people who have the shares.
In the beginning of the Borg it might need money and people but it is established with other companies and hidden markets. Take that back the Russell's did not need others money just captive victims.
