Probably NOT to be read out during the midweek meeting:
"If anyone continues to prophesy, his own father and mother will tell him, 'You must die, for you have prophesied lies in the name of the LORD.'...
"Each will say, 'I am not a prophet. I am a farmer.....

That vese of Zechariah sums it up.
The false prophets start denying they were ever that .
Having said on many occasions that the WT and its followers are a "prophet" they now deny it since the internet is exposing their 100% failure rate. (Deut 18)

PYRAMIDSCHEME
Their very name tells the world they think they are prophets. Jehovah tells them to say something and they say it. If that something is about the future (which much of what they preach is) then they are prophets. What do they think "Witness's of Jehovah" means?

If that something is about the future (which much of what they preach is) then they are prophets
The way "prophet" is commonly used, there is a misconception that its basic definition is "someone who foretells the future," but this definition is too narrow.
Prophet is better defined as "one who speaks for another." A true prophet, then, is a person who speaks for God, delivering a message that God has
ordained him to give In a similar way, a false prophet also may not be in the business of foretelling the future. A false prophet is simply someone who
speaks for another but falsely. False prophets either speak for the wrong god, or they claim to have heard from the true God
but do not accurately represent Him or His words
a prophet in the strictest sense is this
Numbers 12:6-8
King James Version (KJV)
6 And he said, Hear now my words: If there be a prophet among you, I the Lord will make myself known unto him in a vision, and will speak unto him in a dream.
