The disgusting thing (let the reader use discernment) was always as I remember related to religion assigning power to the UN. The wt identified a specific event in 1919, as I recall. Then then just walked away from this belief and now say that this is a future event.

LOL, this foolishness about the U.N. dates back to the Cold War, when Red China and the U.S.S.R. as part of the U.N. would try to conquer the world with their anti-religioness (is that even a word, lol?) ...Anyway, it is only because the GB are completely brain-dead that they have stuck to this outdated speculation. As for the immense hermeneuticl problem of applying the Scriptures to the 21st century, well that is complete BS too.
