Fading update for September

I need to get a job... ASAP. I also need to move to a different city where I am close to everyone I care about but far enough so that I can fade peacefully and at my pace.

Recently, some elders met with me and my girlfriend to advice us "lovingly" on dating and not being alone in parked cars, etc... They asked about my cards. I need to move to a different city so THERE I can fade... i.e. not go anymore.

I have to still attend if I am in my gf's city since her parents still see me and if I stopped going they would "question my spirituality" and probably prevent our dating...

She's totally awakened, she knows, accepts, and loves TTATT. I think I have found the perfect person for me in these circumstances, and she in me. JW but not.

It was stressful, to say the least... the meeting with the elders. I hope I am never busted, and that's why I need to move. One phone call to my previous hall, and I am screwed.

My facebook page has slowly inched towards 100 likes. Many brothers and sisters in Latin America are finding out what the old WT's REALLY said... They would likely never have access to these materials anywhere else... so this is a GREAT resource to spread TTATT without saying a single negative thing... I just let the WT itself do the talking.

Too bad you have to go to such great lengths to live a normal life. My elders just left my sister and I alone. We both stopped going cold turkey.

no one there knows you.....never have to go to the hall!

This sounds very complicated and also like it would not take much for the witnesses to realize what you are doing. You are incredibly vulnerable to being outed my friend.

Here's the thing: I am in city C, where my GF and parents live. I want to move to city B, where the jobs are and where I can be not too far from my GF but not in her city so I can fade, and also away from city A where my parents live.

So now I am looking for a job in city B, so I can get out of city C and fade. Since I have been for around three months now in city C, the elders in her hall are asking where my cards are. If I move to city B, then they won't have to worry about that, they won't know that I am fading, and I only go to the meetings if and only if I am in my GF's city.

That's my situation.

Can you not just move to the other end/side of the city? How big is your city? I'm in a city of over 500 000 and it's relatively easy to just move to the other end and just fade. Sure people will wonder about you and you'll run into JWs but eventually they'll leave you alone and you get to stay close. Win-Win.

Sounds like a plan! Good luck with it, and it's great to have a friend along for the exit: who knows where it will lead, huh?

I'd say if it gets messy, though, just remember you don't have any obligation to save the World anymore (that's admirable, but likely a vestige of JW 'stinking thinking'), so be prepared to set priorities.

I so totally wish! City C is very small; only one KH... But city B is close enough and it's large (60 congs+).

Adamah: I don't want to be DF'd... I still have family/friends inside. I wish to take the fading route if it is possible.

My webpage is completely anonymous and I post under a pseudonym so it should be OK... good way to let other people know TTATT without having problems.

You odtn have to do anything you are a free man.Be true to yourself and stop trying to justify yourself to others.If you still beleive in The Messiah then you are free in him and have no need of anything else.Peace and love on your journey whatever path you take
