Annual Meeting open to anyone in Australia?

Yes an announcement was made at meeting during the week that the AGM would be on 6th Oct. Everyone is encouraged not to miss it. Because we share our hall with 2 other congs they have split the 3.5 hr meeting into a morning and and afternoon session so everybody can attend. Don't know how I will stand that. We got the later one finishing at 6:30pm mmm.

OH gosh if it's gonna be at all our halls I can expect a visit from an elder or two to try to 'encourage' us to come. Sheesh! Well, better be on guard the next few Saturday mornings.

So the AGM is going to on the 6th of October eh? Why do I feel thats significant,..... with JW`s that is. Oh yes now I remember , something or other of great importance always happened either in early october or around the memorial date of march/april.according to the warchtower chronology.
So no doubt the "witnesses" will be on a high , in expectation of what is to be revealed at this meeting. ( only to be let down once again )

This was stated last year:
“What about next year?” asked Brother Morris in his concluding comments. “Next year’s annual meeting, which is scheduled to be held on October 5, 2013, will be tied in to selected Assembly Halls in the United States and other English-speaking countries.”
This program will be broadcast in English only. It will not be interpreted into other languages.
................
So in case Australia is still an English-speaking country, the answer is yes.

Quantity of New NWT is limited. Maybe, WTBTS is scheduled to hand out NNWT to all attendees.
Invitees number depends on the number of copies Bible printed.
