I lived in Colorado for ten years, hope you all are OK out there. It's hard to explain to people who have not lived there how extreme and changeable the weather can be. One day you could be sitting outside having coffee and a couple of days later it's 6 above zero at the same time of day. Once we were out hiking in our shorts, saw the weather was changing, by the time we got home it was snowing.

LisaRose, living high in the Rockies was like that. I dared not leave the house without a jacket, no matter what the season.

Back home now. The entrance to our community is under almost 3 feet. So far our immediate neighborhood is currently dry. Tomorrow afternoon and Sunday all day its supposed to rain with possible flash floods in the area.

I came home because we were told the water was back on. Its not. It was apparently on for about an hour.

I think it would have to flood alot more for our house to be affected. We're on a slight hill.

Dazed, best of luck to you! I live in El Paso county and we got hit hard. Never saw so much rain in my life, and they're predicting more heavy rain and possible flash floods on Sunday.

Floods can be a worrying thing, I hope you stay dry.

On a lighter note. That looks like kevin costner coming out of " Cactus Jacks"

A caption to that photo after spending a few hours at "Cactus Jacks" : Geez, I know I was busting for a leak, but this is ridiculous.

Our daughter lives in Boulder. She's OK, last we heard, but she and her S.O. moved everything valuable to the second floor.
